PNV in short
Vision, a preferred entry point into our central nervous system
Neuroscience has shown that 60% of our brain is involved in vision,* with neural pathways implicating our emotional and hormonal systems, sleep, attention and memory…
The breadth and complexity of this sense account for how, through simple visual exercises such as those performed in PNV sessions, we can impact the entire nervous system and thus regulate a great variety of its disorders.

An effective solution to restore your action potential
Functional disorders of the nervous system are not defined as a disease, and if you suffer from them you may be in otherwise “good health” according to standard medical tests. These disorders are nonetheless very real and can significantly diminish your quality of life.
PNV Neuro-Visual Training can detect and rehabilitate certain functional disorders.
In the footsteps of Psycho Sensory Culture (CPS) by Georges Quertant
PNV follows on from CPS – also known as “la Méthode Quertant” or Quertant Method – a method of applied neuro-physiology developed by Georges Quertant, who was made a Knight of the Legion of Honor (“Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur”) and Officer of Academic Palms (“Officier des Palmes Académiques”) in 1952 for his works.
His work and research have been confirmed by the latest advances in neuroscience, highlighting that the majority of functional disorders originate from a dysfunction of the self-regulating nerve centers at the base of the brain.
It is a neurosensory training with a logical progression aiming to normalize the nervous system’s response to an array of stimuli, recreating the stresses to which we are exposed daily.
PNV in practice
STEP 1: Assessment
A PNV practitioner observes your reactions when presented with an array of visual stimuli, using optical devices. These stimuli recreate the environmental stresses that we are faced with daily.
Based on these objective measurements, the current state of your nervous system can be determined, revealing potential functional disorders and their severity. Your practitioner will explain their observations and help you understand the possible link with feelings, experiences or difficulties in your life.
In short: the assessment
Determine your current neurological functioning and whether a related disorder could be at the root of your problems.
Duration: Approx. 1½ hrs
Location: a PNV Centre
Rate: See with your practitioner
Please note that a PNV® assessment does not constitute a medical diagnosis. Furthermore, as this method stimulates the visual system, it is prudent to ensure that you do not suffer from any particular issue in this area by undergoing ophthalmologic and orthoptic examinations.
STEP 2: Sensory training
By following a personalized training, you learn to gradually adjust your nervous system’s reactions to an array of visual stimuli. As you progressively restore a more balanced functioning, your symptoms lessen and disappear.
The training is carried out on optical devices, during 30-minute sessions approximately twice per week. The complete training typically spans over several months.* PNV is practiced at a PNV® Centre. If regularly traveling to a center is difficult for you, we can rent you a device to do your training from home.
In short: the training
Learn to adjust your nervous system’s reactions by following a personalized training, and get rid of the unpleasant symptoms associated with an outgrown mode of functioning.
Total duration of the training: Several months*
Frequency: 2 sessions per week (30 min/session)
Location: In a PNV Centre or from home with a rental device
Rate: See with your practitioner. They may vary by location and according to preferential rates (students, job seekers, retirees, families…)
